#ADióS TABÚES
Saba’s first-ever podcast in Mexico
Another podcast?
Not quite what you think.
Let’s go back to January 2020 (yep, pre-COVID).
At the time, Saba had an ongoing platform called “Adiós Tabúes,” created to break the myths around periods and women’s reproductive health.
But while working on the brand, we noticed something interesting.
On Saba’s website, the brand’s gynecologist received hundreds of anonymous questions every month.
From girls as young as 11 to women in their 30s.
And many of them were the same.
Same myths, fears and doubts about their own bodies.
Connecting the dots
We matched the anonymous questions submitted on Saba’s website with public data from INEGI on teenage pregnancy in Mexico. That’s when we realized something:
the lack of information around reproductive and women’s health was much bigger than we thought.
Turning questions into conversations
We exported every question submitted on the site, cleaned the database, and organized them into five key themes. These clusters became the backbone of the podcast, shaping the topic of each episode.
From insight
to podcast
I wrote the scripts based on those clusters of doubts, turning real questions into open conversations with the brand’s gynecologist. And that’s how Saba’s first podcast in Mexico was born.
The goal was never thousands of listeners. Just one woman, somewhere in Mexico, finding the answer she needed.
